1. Who we are
“Camalia Group” means Camalia Group Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and its wholly-owned operating brands. You can reach us at admin@camaliagroup.com.
2. What this covers
This policy covers camaliagroup.com — this website, its contact and nomination forms, and the small number of services that make it work. Section 8 covers data we handle on behalf of clients. Section 9 covers our internal accounting integration, which is a separate matter from anything a visitor does here.
3. What we collect when you visit
Three things, and we would rather list them than let you find them.
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are, and how they found us. It sets cookies in your browser and sends that information to Google, who processes it as our service provider. We use it to understand whether the site is doing its job — nothing more. We have not enabled advertising features, we do not build advertising audiences, and we do not link it to any ad account.
- Server logs. Our host, Netlify, records standard request information — IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time. Ordinary web-server logging, used for security and diagnostics.
- Fonts. The typefaces here are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page makes a request to Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address. We use no other third-party embeds.
We run no advertising trackers, no session recording, no heatmaps and no cross-site tracking. Nothing here follows you to another website.
Your light or dark preference is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and it is not a cookie. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and any browser’s tracking protection or cookie blocking will also stop it. Nothing on this site behaves differently if you do.
4. What we collect when you contact us
Two forms on this site collect information, and only what you type into them:
- The enquiry form — your name, email address, optionally your company or website, and your message.
- The rescue nomination form — the organisation you are nominating and its website, your name and email, and any note you add.
Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and emailed to us. Both forms include a hidden anti-spam field; if you are a person rather than a bot, you will never see it.
5. What we use it for
To reply to you, and to carry on the conversation if there is one. That is the whole purpose.
We do not add you to a mailing list, sell or rent your details, share them with advertisers or data brokers, use them to build a profile, or feed them to anyone’s machine-learning training. If we ever want to send you something you didn’t ask for, we will ask first.
6. Who else touches it
As few parties as we can manage:
- Netlify — hosting, server logs, and form submissions.
- Google — Analytics, and Fonts, both as described above.
- Our email provider — because a form submission arrives as an email.
Beyond those, we share nothing, except where required by law or valid legal process, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our inbox and in Netlify’s form records for as long as the conversation is useful — which for a live or prospective engagement can be some years. Ask us to delete yours and we will, and you don’t have to give a reason. Server logs are kept on our host’s standard retention schedule.
8. Client data
When we build and run a website for a client, that client owns their site, their domain, their content and their customer data. We hold it as their service provider, we do not use it for our own purposes, and we hand it over on request. Individual engagements are governed by their own agreement, which takes precedence over this page.
9. Our QuickBooks Online integration
Separately from this website, we operate an internal integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online that accesses Camalia Group’s own company file via Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 API. It reads and, where authorised, writes our own financial records — transactions, invoices, bills, vendor records and reports — to automate our own bookkeeping.
It accesses no other company’s financial data. Where our records happen to contain third-party details, such as a billing name on an invoice, they are processed only in the course of keeping our own books. Authoritative records stay in QuickBooks Online under our account; OAuth tokens and processing state sit on infrastructure we control, with restricted access and TLS in transit. This data is not sold, shared for marketing, or used to train external models.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Email admin@camaliagroup.com and we will deal with it. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
11. Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
12. Security, honestly stated
Credentials are stored on servers we control with restricted access, and connections are made over TLS. No system is perfectly secure, and we make no public guarantee that our safeguards will be sufficient in every circumstance.
13. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle enquiries will be described here rather than made quietly.
